# Take action with AI Chat

> Ask Octolane a question, request a change, and review the result before it runs.

AI Chat can answer questions about your CRM and prepare actions using the same records you reviewed earlier in the course.

**Time:** 3 minutes

**Outcome:** One useful answer and one reviewed action.

## Try one question

Start with a request that is easy to verify:

```text Ask about your pipeline theme={"system"}
Which open opportunities have no next step?
```

Follow the cited records to confirm the answer matches your data.

## Try one action

```text Create a task theme={"system"}
Create a task for me to review the Acme opportunity tomorrow.
```

**1. Review the proposed change**

Check the record, owner, due date, and wording before approving it.

**2. Approve or edit**

Approve the action as written or edit the proposal first.

**3. Verify the result**

Open the linked record and confirm the task appears where you expect it.

> Approval behavior depends on workspace settings and action type. Keep consequential actions reviewable until your team trusts the workflow.
