# Custom fields

> Add fields to any standard object.

Add any field to Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, or Tasks: text, number, date, select, multi-select, URL, currency, formula, lookup.

For fields you want filled automatically from conversations, use an [AI field](/introductions/ai-fields) instead.
