# Opportunities

An Opportunity is a deal: an account, a value, a stage, a close date, and the people working it.

## Lifecycle

1. **Detected**. Surfaced from a real conversation (see [Auto-detecting deals](/ai/auto-detecting-deals)).
2. **Qualified**. Moved into your pipeline.
3. **Working**. Stage advances as conversations progress.
4. **Won / Lost**. Closed with reason and notes.
