# Building your pipeline

> Stages, criteria, and probability.

Settings → Pipelines → New.

For each stage define:

* **Name** and color
* **Probability** (used by AI Chat forecasts)
* **Entry criteria**. Conditions that auto-advance a deal in
* **Exit criteria**. What must be true before moving on

Keep it to 5–7 stages for founder-led motions.
