# The Octolane playbook for YC founders

> How seed–Series A founder-led teams run sales on Octolane.

You're the founder. You're also the SDR, AE, CS, and product team. This playbook is the minimum-viable sales OS that scales with you to your first 10 reps.

## Week 1: foundation

* Connect Gmail + Calendar
* Import any existing prospects from your sheet
* Define 3 AI fields: "decision maker", "next step", "blocker"
* Build a 5-stage pipeline: Lead → Qualified → Demo → Proposal → Closed

## Week 2: rhythm

* Approval queue every morning, 15 minutes max
* All demos recorded; review summaries instead of taking notes
* Friday: ask AI Chat for "deals with no activity in 7 days"

## Week 3+: leverage

* Install Signal on your site
* Turn on auto-follow-up with manual approval
* Start drafting outreach to Signal-identified ICP visitors
